Number one, the Seattle Mariners

The Mariners were a great team this year. The team broke a record with their player, Cal Raleigh, who broke the record for most home runs in a season, totaling 65. He also made 60 catches this season, creating a single season record. This team finished the season with 90 wins to be the second seed in the American league; they lost to the Blue Jays, who had the key to the World Series.

Number two, the Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies were a strong team this season, with 96 wins. The Phillies were the second seed in the playoffs; the team ended up losing to the LA Dodgers, who then went on to play in the National League Championship Series.

Number three, the Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers was the best team in the MLB this year, with a 97-65 season. They had the first seed in National League. They faced the Chicago Cubs in the National League Division Series this year and beat them 3-2. The team then went to the National League Championship Series to face the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers lost all four games in the NLCS, which was the key to the World Series.
