Anne Wilson

In this article, we will be discussing why Anne Wilson became a singer. When Anne was 15 years old, her brother Jacob who was 23 years old died in a car accident on June 7th. It was one of the hardest times for Anne and her family. Three days after her brother passed away, she was playing the piano and singing. Her mom then walked in and told her ‘’ I want you to sing at your brother's funeral’’. On the day of the funeral, Anne sang, ‘’What a Beautiful Name’’, and her whole family was amazed at how beautiful she had sung. It was at that point that Anne had discovered that she could sing, and she started writing the first song of her career entitled, “My Jesus”. Her song broke out in a single year, and Anne won an award for it. She started writing more songs, including ‘’Seventh of June’’ and ‘’Living Water’’. One day Anne was interviewed and asked why she had started singing. She replied, saying that when her brother died she was so broken but learned to have faith, and it was going to be okay because God is always with us. He will never leave us. She also said that the album “My Jesus’’ was for her brother. She now has another album called “ Rebel” and has had 220 shows across 46 states over nine tours! I have been blessed to go to two concerts this year and meet her in person with my friends!
